This will mark Fletcher’s third year participating in the WSOP.
Every Sunday, Cake Poker hosts a $100,000 Guaranteed Tournament with a first prize of at least $20,000.00. After beginning the second event of the North American Poker Tour’s inaugural season at an extremely tough table that included Hoyt Corkins, John D’Agostino, and Eric “Peechy Keen” Liu, Clayton Fletcher was moved to a table of unknowns. Twenty minutes later, The Joker was bagging his chips in preparation for action on Day Two of the Main Event at Mohegan Sun.
Day Two found Fletcher on the short stack. Very early he managed to get it all-in with pocket fours versus Shawn Buchanan’s QT. A ten on the flop found the 2007 WPT Mandalay Bay champion chipped up and The Joker heading for the exits.
Fletcher is excited to play more events on the NAPT later this year.
