Clayton Fletcher is an avid semi-professional poker player. He specializes in No-Limit Texas Hold ‘Em but also enjoys other games including Seven-Card Stud and Omaha. He has over thirty first place tournament finishes to his credit, from The Venetian in Las Vegas to The Borgata in Atlantic City. Known in poker circles as “The Joker,” Clayton likes to have fun while he is playing cards!   • Joker Earns First Major Victory

    This week, Clayton “The Joker” Fletcher bested a field of 183 to earn $26,000 and a beautiful trophy for winning the $600 no-limit hold em tournament at Venetian Las Vegas. Said Fletcher, “I’ve won dozens of tournaments before, but all of them have been in non-majors (buy-ins under $500). This one means a lot to me, getting it done in the summer during the WSOP and all. Plus, the trophy is going to look great on my mantle!”

  • Clayton Fletcher earns first WSOP cash

    Great news from Las Vegas today as Clayton Fletcher finished 15th out of 3,221 players in World Series of Poker Event #54. After finishing Day One tied for the chip lead, Fletcher never looked back, delivering a dominant performance throughout the four-day event. He earns nearly $23,000 for his effort.

    Clayton “The Joker” Fletcher was among the 6,595 players to participate in this year’s World Series of Poker Main Event. The tournament, which featured a prize pool of over $62,000,000, is the third largest in WSOP history. Fletcher made it to Day Two but did not finish in the money. In an earlier WSOP event (#54) held just a few days prior, Fletcher finished 15th out of 3,221, an incredible showing and one of The Joker’s proudest moments in the game.

  • Clayton Fletcher cashes in WSOP Circuit Palm Beach

    Clayton “The Joker” Fletcher was among the chip leaders for much of Day Two at the World Series of Poker Circuit Event in Palm Beach, Florida. Alas, his luck ran out shortly after the money bubble burst and he finished 79th out of 778 players, cashing for $2,819. This marks Fletcher’s second WSOPC cash, the first a final table at Harrah’s Atlantic City in 2009:

  • Clayton Fletcher’s Aussie Millions Final Table

    Clayton “The Joker” Fletcher finished eighth out of 224 players in the 2012 Aussie Millions “Terminator” Event #14. The tournament, which represents Fletcher’s first cash in any Australian event, was held at the Crown Casino in Melbourne and featured a prize pool of over $140,000. The event is nicknamed “Terminator” due to its trademark $100 bounties, of which Fletcher collected 16 throughout the single day of play. Other final table participants included popular poker journalist Kevin “KevMath” Mathers, who finished sixth. The tournament was won by Aussie Tony Tran in his first ever cash.

    Clayton Fletcher is currently playing in the World Poker Tour’s “Legends of Poker” Championship in Los Angeles, California. The tournament, which features a prize pool of nearly $3,000,000, runs until August 30th. Heading into Day Two, The Joker has 43,900 from a starting stack of 30,000.

    Clayton Fletcher has qualified for the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event! He begins play on Thursday, July 8th at 12PM PST.

    This marks The Joker’s third year participating in the WSOP but only his first Main Event. It is also the third championship in which Fletcher is competing this year. The Aussie Millions and North American Poker Tour (NAPT) Mohegan Sun were the other two.

    Today it became official that Clayton “The Joker” Fletcher, known online as claytoncomic, will be among the 3,500 players expected to participate in Event #30 at the 2010 World Series of Poker. The event, which is a No-Limit Texas Hold ‘Em tournament, is expected to have a prize pool of over $5,000,000.00.  First prize is an estimated $1,250,000 and a coveted WSOP bracelet.
